YOU HAVE BEEN SPIRITUALLY POSITIONED TO DO IT
Eph. 2:1-6
“And YOU hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
And hath raised us up together, and made us SIT TOGETHER in HEAVENLY PLACES in Christ Jesus:
That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”
This is ground for rejoicing! If you are born again and you know that you have Jesus in your heart then by the authority of God’s word you are seated with Christ in heavenly places. You are in a privileged position to prevail. It is not only Christ that is seated. You who also believe in Christ are seated. Now if the reason why God said to His Son ‘sit at my right hand’ is ‘until I make your enemies your footstool’; why do you think God will also make you to be seated at His right hand in the heavenly places? Is it not so that your enemies should also be made your footstool? Even though I am here, position-wise, I am seated. And because I am seated with Him I have what it takes to prevail over all enemies. The Bible says ‘He is seated FAR ABOVE ALL’ enemies. We have what it takes to also bring the enemies under us. Now you understand where you are seated and what authority you have.
IT IS TIME TO FIGHT!
It is action time! After Jesus’ resurrection, when God was giving revelation to John He didn’t ask us to pray. It is not prayer time, it is now action time. We are not praying any more “let your will be done”. We are now in the days when we enforce the will of God on the earth. We have everything within our power. Where we are now we have what it takes to enforce His reign here. Why would there be war in heaven? There was war in heaven because something was coming into heaven that doesn’t have a place in heaven. And the angels in heaven said “what? This cannot be happening here”. So the angel Michael declared war against the dragon and his angels. “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in HEAVEN” (Rev. 12:7-8). The angels did not go to pray. The angels went to fight. It was warfare. You have looked at what has been eating you all these years in the name of praying. It is time to fight. The angels didn’t go to fast, they didn’t go to pray; they took their swords. It wasn’t physical swords; it was the double edged sword of the word of God. “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death” (verse 11). They took the weapon that was given to them. They used it to change the evil that wanted to creep into heaven and wanted to destabilize what was there.
THE PARABLE OF THE TARES
Jesus tells us a parable in Matt. 13:24-30 of a man who sowed good seed in his field but went to sleep. And when he woke up there was both good and bad crops growing in his field. And those who were watching over the field came to the man in alarm. “Master was it not only good seeds that we sowed, how come there are now bad seeds growing with them?” He said, ‘an enemy came to sow it”. The enemy came to sow it while the man slept. When you sleep is when you commit sin, when you are cheating, when you refuse to forgive, when you are doing wrong; when you are not obeying instructions. They now asked the master, can we go and remove the bad ones. He said no; let’s leave it till the end, at harvest time. In the end I will send my angels and they will separate the good from the bad and burn up the bad. Hear me, if there is a display of power at the end to make it possible to separate the good from the bad; the same power that is available at the end is also available now.
