IT IS A TASTE OF THE POWER THAT IS TO COME
To have a taste of heaven on earth is to have a taste of the power that is to come now. To live a life of heaven on earth is to live in the state of the power that is to come; that power that is reserved for the end. The master said unto them, “Leave it until the end”. But there are some people that will not leave it. I read my scripture in Hebrews 11; and with all of those mighty acts of faith that are documented, it says they still did not receive the promise. You mean Sarah having Isaac at 90 didn’t receive the promise? So all those great patriarchs and matriarchs of faith didn’t receive the promise? So what did they receive? They were all looking up to heaven. Their eyes were fixed on where they were going; the heaven they were expecting to come. And with all the miracles they received they still never saw that heaven. Heb 11:13–16 explains it. “These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they SEEK A COUNTRY. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they DESIRED A BETTER COUNTRY, that is, AN HEAVENLY: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.”
WE ARE THE FULFILLMENT OF THEIR DESIRE
But that is not our case. It is not just that God has made us to sit, He has put us there. We are sited there. Meaning that it is whatever we permit to stay that will stay. That is why Jesus said to us in Matthew 16:19; “And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” It is whatever you bind or loose on earth, not whatever you pray about that gets done in heaven. They didn’t have the keys. And every time God shows up they have a little bit of heaven; and they don’t even know where it is. So anything that does not look like heaven does not have the permit to remain in your life. If it remains it is because you permitted it. If you tell it to pack its load and go it will go. When heaven got to the pull of Bethsaida thirty-eight years paralysis disappeared. When Jesus got to the gates of the City of Nain the only son of the widow came out of the coffin. When He got to the grave of Lazarus that four days dead man came back alive and whole. Jesus walked on top of water. He could not sink. He suspended the law that causes men to sink. The person walking on the sea was from heaven and He is above all. The water could not swallow Him. The same power was extended to Peter to walk on water by His simple command “Come!” Peter came out of the boat and also walked on water. It is what you permit that is permitted. It is time to wage war against everything that is contrary to heaven. It is important that you understand that you are fighting from a position of advantage. You are fighting from a triumphant sitting position. The devil and all is works are subject to you. You are sited in Christ in heavenly places FAR ABOVE all principality, power, might, Dominion and every name that is named in this age and the age to come. You have what it takes to subdue the enemy under your feet.
GO FOR TOTAL VICTORY
You must go for total victory. In Psalms 18:17-40 David said; “I have PURSUED mine enemies, and OVERTAKEN them: neither did I turn again till THEY WERE CONSUMED. I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet. For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me. Thou hast also GIVEN ME the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me”.
Your enemies are in your hands. If they escape it is because you permitted it!
God gives us another picture of what He expects us to do with our enemies in Joshua 10:22-26. “Then said Joshua, Open the mouth of the cave, and bring out those five kings unto me out of the cave. And they did so, and brought forth those five kings unto him out of the cave, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon. And it came to pass, when they brought out those kings unto Joshua, that Joshua called for all the men of Israel, and said unto the captains of the men of war which went with him, Come near, put your feet upon the necks of these kings. And they came near, and put their feet upon the necks of them. And Joshua said unto them, Fear not, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage: for thus shall the Lord do to all your enemies against whom ye fight. And afterward Joshua smote them, and slew them, and hanged them on five trees: and they were hanging upon the trees until the evening.”
Unless you fight them God cannot put the necks of your enemies under your feet.
THE INSTRUCTION
I am talking to you by the instruction of God. I want you to itemize with your mouth and your pen those enemies that you are seeing that doesn’t look like heaven in your life. Write them down. This night you will step on that enemy. That devil is a liar. It is coming under your feet today and permanently. In Revelation 21:4, God says in heaven there is no more death, sorrow or tears. No more crying, no more pains. Former things are passed away and He is making all things new. And Chapter 22 verse 2-3 says; “In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be NO MORE CURSE: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him”. Whatever doesn’t look like heaven in your life right now, write it down and declare war against it. What you want to see from today in your life is what God has ordained from heaven. You have the keys of the kingdom of heaven.
