Financial Inversion Part 3

For everyone that has been following this sermon series, four words are important and are to be taken seriously:

  • KNOW: To be aware of! When Jesus said we will “know” the truth; He meant we will be aware of the truth! And the truth in this sermon series is that this financial inversion is real, it is something that can turn your finances around; and it is the truth about God’s goodness and mercy! You must know, because it is only when you know that freedom is on the way – financial freedom, freedom from lack and scarcity!
  • BELIEVE: To accept! For this sermon series, you must accept the truth that your finances are in God’s plan! And He means only good for us! Do you accept this truth?!
  • RECEIVE: To position and condition yourself to take something! Positioning oneself to come into possession of what is his! There is something out there in the someone’s hands for you, things you need, resources you’ve been praying and hoping for – the question is are you positioned to possess them?!
  • TAKE: Only the violent ones take! Because it is theirs! Are you ready to take what is yours?!

Going back to our main scripture verse, Prov. 13: 22 says Prov. 13: 22 – “A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.” This is the truth that we must know, believe, receive and take! Just like Mordecai, Abraham, Isaac and Daniel did in my previous teachings on this topic. Wealth is laid up for the righteous that will obey God without argument (like Abraham) and believe in Jesus and His finished work on the cross as the price for his sin – this is what is required of the righteous, and this is what qualifies the righteous for wealth transfer! Whoever believes in Jesus has the authority to take from his Father’s pool of wealth; and the wealth of the Father in the hands of the wrong people will have to be transferred to the child of God!

Job. 27: 16, 17 – “Though he heap up silver as the dust, And prepare raiment as the clay; he may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.”

ON RIGHTEOUSNESS AND PERFECTION: Once one becomes righteous, it is easy to live righteous! “But do not get me wrong, no one is perfect – as Christians, we are righteous but not perfect, on the contrary, we are perfecting! There’s a huge difference!” Just like Abraham had flaws because he was perfecting, not perfect! Living righteous is a choice! The righteous one can make mistakes, but repeating the mistake is when it becomes a sin, and the righteous must make the choice to live righteous daily – meaning, on a daily basis, we are works in progress! Like that popular saying, “the road to success is always under construction!”

Taking our other text, Eccl. 2: 26 says “For God gives to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he gives travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God…” This is another truth that the righteous must believe, and it brings us to the second condition/qualification for wealth transfer (after BEING RIGHTEOUS), which we will be looking at in Solomon’s story. This condition is that we must PLEASE GOD.

I Kings 3: 9, 10a says “Give therefore your servant an understanding heart to judge your people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this your so great a people? And the speech pleased the LORD…” God gives strength to gather wealth to those who please Him! God responded to Solomon after he offered sacrifice to Him, the kind Solomon’s father never offered; so God asked him to ask for whatever he wants – and he asked for something that pleased God! Solomon’s request reflects his concern for God’s people, for justice especially for the poor – he was concerned about what God was concerned about!

“The key to pleasing God is asking for what is in God’s heart! Go after what is in God’s heart, not what is in His hands! When you get His heart, you will get His hands!”

SOLOMON’S PRAYER & THE HEART OF GOD (I KINGS 3: 9, 10)

Prov. 28: 8 – “He that augmenteth his substance by interest and increase, Gathereth it for him that hath pity on the poor.”

Prov. 14: 31 – “He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker; But he that hath mercy on the needy honoreth him.”

Prov. 19: 17 – “He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto Jehovah, And his good deed will he pay him again.”

Prov. 22: 22 – “Rob not the poor, because he is poor; neither oppress the afflicted in the gate.”

God has pity for the poor! Anyone who has pity for the poor is getting the heart of God! Solomon had passion for the poor than for power; and as a result of his request God gave him what he asked and some more! Vs. 13 of that text says “and I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches and honor, so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee, all thy days.”

“When you please God and get His heart, He gives you the ‘ALSO’!”

Solomon’s story and blessing (as a result of his prayer) was so real that for forty years, he did not fight a single war, there was peace! In his days, gold was all he used (I Kings 10: 21 – “And all king Solomon’s drinking vessels were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of pure gold: none were of silver; it was nothing accounted of in the days of Solomon.”) Kings and nations were bringing their wealth to him; I Kings 10: 1- 13 is one of the stories of the wealth that came to Solomon – Queen Sheba came to Solomon because of what she had heard, and when she saw that all were true, she gave to him, gold, spices and precious stones! And in verse 23, we read that Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom.

King Solomon was not the only one that wealth came to, wealth came to baby Jesus too. In Matthew 2: 7-11, Jesus received wealth as gifts from the three wise men from the East. The same way Jesus was born and had a star, so were we born-again and have a star; and the way rich men came looking for Him, so will wealthy men see your star, look for and find you and they will open their boxes to give to you! People who are carrying what you need will locate you very soon to transfer wealth to you! Shout an AMEN if you believe!

GOD IS STILL IN THE BUSINESS OF TRANSFERENCE

God has done it before and He will do it again and again! Exodus 3: 20-22 says “And I will put forth my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof: and after that he will let you go. And I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty: but every woman shall ask of her neighbor, and of her that sojourneth in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and ye shall put them upon your sons, and upon your daughters; and ye shall despoil the Egyptians.” The fulfillment of this Scripture is in Exodus 12: 35, 36 – “And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they asked of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and Jehovah gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they let them have what they asked. And they despoiled the Egyptians.” God fulfilled His promise; there was wealth transfer to the children of Israel by the time He brought them out of the land of Egypt. “And he brought them forth with silver and gold; and there was not one feeble person among his tribes.” (Psa. 105: 37). None of the children of Israel were feeble because they had everything they needed. They were not lacking in wealth, resources or financial strength!

Deut. 6: 3, 11 – “Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as Jehovah, the God of thy fathers, hath promised unto thee, in a land flowing with milk and honey… and houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and cisterns hewn out, which thou hewedst not, vineyards and olive-trees, which thou plantedst not, and thou shalt eat and be full.” The experience that God has planned for each of His children is that of milk and honey, and He plans this experience to come from things you had no hand in their creation or existence – houses you did not build, cars you did not buy, food you did not grow or buy, lands you did not purchase – transfer of wealth you did not know existed for your sake, from both the hands of the wicked and the good people because He knows you’ll do something greater with it!

The same God that made kings and nations give to Solomon, and opened the eyes of the rich, wise men to see Jesus’ star, this same God that made sure the children of Israel did not leave the land of Egypt empty-handed will cause the wind of wealth transfer to blow in your direction! From today, wealth is coming to you; God will create things for you that you cannot create for yourself; He will build families, careers, ministries etc. for you that you cannot build for yourself! He will send you help and helpers; your name will be mentioned for goodness and mercy; you will live continually under the state of favour. You will multiply and increase! The devourer will not have access to your destiny! In the name of Jesus! AMEN!
