Journey Full of Trust

Main Text
Psalms 102:1-16

Watchword
For Your servants take pleasure in her stones, And show favor to her dust.
Psalms 102:14 NKJV

This text focus on affectionate desire for revival of God’s favor on prevailing desolations in our lives. Just as Zion’s hope is in God for awakening we also need to trust God for our revival. Just as the stones and even dust in the city Zion is very precious to God’s servant, so is every believer in Christ, precious to God. God’s time to work revival is when His people are ready. When you favor God’s house and work, you enjoy God’s favor (1Peter 5:10).

God is trustworthy; therefore, He will fulfill His promises. We are not on our own but God is acting according to His own timing and ways. He has a plan and future for us that is much greater than we suspect, especially during times of personal turmoil. Just because God does not respond as fast as we wish does not mean He is not responsive; He is working out something much greater than the current situation could seem to indicate from our limited perspective (Isaiah 35:3-4).

We may feel alone, but we are not. There are times when we may feel that God is distant and not working, but He is always there. One of the lessons of faith that we have to learn is that our feelings are often inaccurate spiritual indicators of what God is doing, and therefore we need to come to Him in complete honesty just as we are that we might once again gain reassurance of His Word and ways. Only then are we truly established in Him (1 Chronicles 28:20).

Confession
