Holy Spirit: Our All Access Pass to God

June 17, 2020 – Daily Devotional with David Olatona – HOLY SPIRIT SERIES

Main Text:
Hebrews 10:11-25

The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.”
(Romans 8:15) NIV

It is an extraordinary privilege to be living in this time when every believer can have the Holy Spirit living within them. Before the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit only came on particular people at particular times for particular tasks. Believers unique spiritual privileges and eternal spiritual favors begin the moment the Holy Spirit draws them into a union with Jesus Christ.

They then have access to the very presence of God as priests who are privileged to offer up a variety of spiritual sacrifices. The name of Jesus is like a badge that gives you clearance into areas that other people cannot access. You don’t have to strain to see the power of God released in your life.

Develop your relationship with the Holy Spirit, ask Him to take you by the hand and teach you. God is relational and not exclusive with people who will recognize who He is and come to Him in faith because He delights in revealing Himself and sharing His nature with us.

My way is clear, the road is open, the Spirit of God is my leeway… I will access God’s presence.

We pray for the grace to utilize the Holy Spirit as our key to open and enter into the deeper parts of God
