A Daily Devotional with David Olatona – A Life Lived by the Holy Spirit
June 3, 2020
Main Text: John 14:1-18
Watchword
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. 2 Corinthians 13:14
We can have fellowship with the Spirit because of the grace of Jesus Christ and love of God. Fellowship of the Spirit is more than a simple friendly relationship it is communion, partnership and participation. This fellowship was brought into existence on the day of Pentecost, when the believers first received the gift of the Holy Spirit.
It is a fellowship created by the Holy Spirit, sustained by the Holy Spirit and directed by the Holy Spirit. This is what makes the fellowship of the Christian churches very unique.
Fellowship with the Holy Spirit is not complicated at all it is all about a two-way dialogue. We learn to share our hearts freely with the Holy Spirit, we start the conversation, and He speaks back to us. We must stay engaged because He wants our heart connection.
Confession
I will arise and ride upon the Spirit daily, abandoning myself to HIS leading.
Prayer
O’Lord, cause me to understand and to enjoy the grace of the Holy Spirit….help me to draw from the well of your Spirit
